Brand design, logo refinement, and app design for startup hotel/homeshare franchise.
Natiivo is a homeshare and hotel franchise that functions similar to an airbnb but with the amenities and perks of a hotel. I worked as lead designer on the VGS team to provide development of their existing logo, branding, web design, and app design. The challenge was to provide something that felt unique and impressionable yet timeless, luxurious, and appropriate for the industry.

This logo is a modification of their already existing logo. I was able to create a more even kerning as well as create a logo mark that shared the same visual weight and style.

Primary Typeface
Goldenbook is a serif display typeface to be used at large sizes and headline capacity. It can also be used in other short-form applications, titles, signage and other collateral of high brand significance.
Secondary TypefACE
Avenir Next can be used for an extensive range of applications: subhead, copy, eyebrows, captions, etc. It can also occasionally be used in a headline capacity but only at smaller sizes, and for collateral of lower brand significance.
Natiivo’s brand colors are an evolution of your timeless black and white. Warm Black and White as your primary color stake center stage to create a high contrast and clean aesthetic that highlights the elegance of its respective design and photography. Secondary colors are to be used in support of the primary Warm Back and White. Its intention is to create visual distinction and hierarchy when the contrast of Warm Black is too harsh.

Developed as proof of concept to engage investors. Similar to other home sharing companies, the app features back-end management for both hosts and guests. The app showcases information regarding your trip, hotels, and amenities, and allows you to book not only rooms but a variety of other services.
The app is projected to continue in development.
